This learning path provides foundational knowledge of deafblindness. Topics include an overview of deafblindness, the impact deafblindness has on learning, and the importance of early identification of deafblindness.

This lesson provides information and strategies to support learning for children who are deafblind.

Lesson 3
Complete Foundational Teaching Strategies
This lesson focuses on effective strategies, including Hand-Under-Hand, for teaching children who are deafblind in educational settings as well as at home.

Lesson 4
Complete Building Relationships
This lesson focuses on why relationships matter, specific strategies to bond and build trust, and the importance of nurturing peer relationships.
