This module takes a detailed look at what the Part C regulations require in terms of how Part C funds may be used. Reflective supervision and consultation (RSC) exists to provide a respectful, thoughtful, and understanding atmosphere where exchanges of information, as well as exploration of thoughts and feelings around the things that arise in one’s work, can occur. Tailored towards supervisors and supervisees, Part I offers an overview of some of the distinctive elements of RSC and as well as how it can impact practice with infants, toddlers, young children and their families. Part II explores how supervisors and supervisees can create space for growth promoting reflection within the supervisory relationship and navigate the challenges that might arise as they do.

This web discussion invited practitioners, supervisors, and local system managers to share their experiences with using the Coaching-in-Action Checklist as the fidelity observation tool. Discussion focused on how fidelity observation of coaching practices is currently working in local programs, how the tool is being used, positive experiences and challenges. Feedback was also invited regarding additional needs for support to ensure successful fidelity observation.
